State Swim Meet Hotel Info - Monday, August 22, 2011

Short Course Swim state is in Butte again this year Feb 24-26. A block of
rooms are being held at the Comfort Inn (494-8850) of Butte under "Missoula YMCA Swim Team" beginning on 2/23/2012 for 3 nights. The discounted group rate per
night is $89.99 plus 7% room tax & $1 per night. Rooms will be held until
01/20/2012

Name Changes for Swimming Age Groups - Friday, December 10, 2010

To make things more fun for both swimmers and parents MYST has changed the method for identifying the respective Age Groups. Going with a Shark theme, the changes are as follows:

Pre-Comp - Tiger Sharks

8 and Under- MegaMouths

9-10 Year Olds - Hammerheads

Advanced Crew - Great Whites
Senior Boys/Girls - Makos (the fastest sharks on the planet)

The swimmers are excited about the new "teams" and this will really add to the togetherness of each age group. Please make a note of what group your swimmers are in as we begin to incorporate these names into our team!
